Sedera offers freedom of choice as a fundamental value. They have no network restrictions which means members can select the providers they prefer and they have no “out-of-network” penalties.
Sedera does phase in sharing for pre-existing conditions as follows:

Individual/Family Plans - Must be a member for 1 year, member covers $5000 and plan shares the remainder
Business Plans - Member covers twice their initial unshareable amount (IUA) up to a max of $5000 and then the plan covers the remainder
Sedera turned 9 years old in 2023, making it one of the more established healthcare sharing companies. They have a SELECT+ plan that is designed for small businesses and an ACCESS+ plan for individuals and families. Individual plans start at $127 per month and family plans start at $314 per month with monthly share amounts that go up from there depending upon various factors. Business plans start at $145 for individuals and $452 for families and go up from there based on different factors. There is no per-incident max-sharing cap and there is no lifetime maximum sharing amount with Sedera. Keep in mind that there is no application fee and Sedera does not have any religious affiliation. Sedera does include an incentive for non-smokers. Finally, individual/family plans can be set up to start immediately, without any waiting period, while business plans can start on the first of the month following enrollment.
